WINE TASTING AT HOME

Here at The Secret Garden, we have decided to add a service to our, already, “multi interest” business. As you might be aware, we have been organising a
monthly Wine Tasting Evening. This has shown the interest people have in wines and, therefore, we are now offering A Wine Tasting @ Home Service.
For a minimum of 8 people, Stéphane will come to your home and organise the wine tasting. This can be adapted to your knowledge, regional or grape
interest. Tasting notes will be supplied. The following prices apply for Wine Tasting organised within 25 miles from The Secret Garden. A supplement
will apply should the distance be longer.

Please note that we are NOT an outside caterer and any of the option above will be done in relation to The Wine Tasting @ Home Service. The meal will be prepared beforehand and any last-minute cooking will be done with the use of your kitchen.
Package 1 – Introduction to wine
(2 to 2½ hours)
£25 per person
This package allows anyone to have a first step on the ladder. A simple approach to the wine making process with a tasting of 5 different types of wine: sparkling, white, pink, red and sweet.
Package 2 – The Grape Approach
(2 to 2½ hours)
£30 per person
With this package, we concentrate on the type of grape. 5 wines will be tasted from different regions/countries but made from the same grape. This approach allows a deeper look at the grape factor and quality.
Package 3 – The Region/Country Approach
(2 to 2½ hours)
£30 per person
With this package, we concentrate on a region or on a country. 5 wines from the same area will be tasted. This approach allows a deeper look at the wine making process and style of a particular region or country.
Package 4 – The “A La carte” Approach
£50 per hour + the purchase of the wine
(at Retail price)
This package is designed for people who wish to have a tasting of specific wines. These will be selected and provided in agreement with Stéphane.

Food Supply
The Secret Garden is able to supply food to match the wine tasting. Two options can be chosen from:

The Buffet (From £10 per person)
This option allows an informal approach to wine tasting. After the tasting, a buffet will be served. You will be able to purchase, at retail price, the wines previously tasted to accompany your food.


The Food & Wine Matching (From £15 per person)
This option allows a deeper approach to the matching of particular wines with specific food. One of our chefs will accompany Stéphane and cater for your food. This will be done in your kitchen.
