ARTIST EXHIBITION AT WINE BAR & RESTAURANT

Alex Charles - Original Pictures

2CVEifell

Alex lives and works in a little thatched house in the bottom left hand corner of Suffolk and yes it is very nice although he'd much prefer if it was in the bottom left hand corner of France, because French cars and France are his passion.

“As a poor young man I bought my first Citroën for the same price as a tank of fuel and together with two friends we took the sunny and very slow road (slowly) to the wonderful south of France where we starved amidst the beauty. I was hooked forever. My second Citroën cost two hundred pounds, a pair of shoes and an old suit, I was going up in the world!”

Alex has worked in publishing as art director and as a photographer and teacher. His favourite French graphic artist is Hervé Morvan, which Alex based the two Secret Garden posters upon. You can view his current work at www.alexcharlesdesignshop.co.uk
